I use Sarah’s intermediate method, but some of the algorithims are different ones from there, based on what I found on SpeedCubeDB.
Steps
The method has the following steps:
- Solve the first side any way you want.
- OLL, which solves the opposite face.
- There are 5 Pi cases and 5 Peanut cases
- The case where the corners are already solved can be done with a PLL, for example with a U perm.
- PLL solves the remaning 3, 4 or 5 centers
Notation
According to the WCA, the cube has a fixed corner, usually the white-green-red one, that should be facing you. And then you have the R L U and B turns. However, in Sledge and Hedge in this method, we are actually turning the aformentioned corner.
So in the cubing.js notation:
Sledge
The moves are: F' UL F UL'.Hedge
The moves are: UL F' UL' F.
